Participating in the international meeting in Croatia was an exciting experience. During the internships, we had a chance to meet with students and teachers from Croatia, Romania, and Greece, allowing us to make some new friends.

During the workshops, we mainly worked with spreadsheets, created budgets, and learned how to edit photos of our product. We also learned how to make posts to promote products online and how to manage company social media accounts. We planned our own businesses and learned how to find customers online.

Besides classes, we also spent a lot of time integrating with groups from Greece, Romania, and Croatia and sightseeing the local town Metković and Croatia’s breathtaking landscapes.

I’m really grateful that I was able to take part in this project.

I felt at home, the hosts were very nice and helpful and the atmosphere was very friendly. I gained a lot of experience, I improved my English and made a lot of new friends.

International Internships in Croatia – My Impressions

The internship trip to Croatia was a truly valuable experience for me. I learned many new things and got to see what work looks like in another country, in an international environment. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with participants from Greece, Romania, and Croatia, which allowed me to learn about different perspectives and ways of working in an international group.

During the classes, we mainly worked with spreadsheets, created budgets, and learned how to edit product photos to better present our ideas. I also learned how to manage company accounts on social media, plan posts, and promote products online.

Together with the group, we developed our own ideas for small businesses and learned how to find clients online. We also met local entrepreneurs and freelancers who shared their experiences and gave us valuable advice. This allowed me to see what real work in e-commerce and freelancing looks like.

After classes, we had time to explore the area and relax. I was impressed by Croatia’s beautiful landscapes, warm climate, and the friendliness of its people. The joint activities with groups from Greece, Romania, and Croatia were also a great opportunity for integration, exchanging experiences, and learning about new cultures.

I am glad I was able to take part in this internship. I learned many practical things, overcame some personal barriers, and gained more self-confidence. I believe that this trip was not only interesting but also very valuable both professionally and personally.

Erasmus+ in Croatia: A Week of Learning and Workshops

The international meeting in Croatia was a very inspiring experience for me. Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to work in international groups with students and teachers from Greece, Romania, and Croatia, which allowed us to learn about different perspectives and ways of working.

During the workshops, we focused on practical aspects of running a small online business. We created our own products, analyzed their strengths and weaknesses, identified potential customers, and planned promotion strategies. We learned how to set up and run online stores, create multimedia content for social media, and prepare freelance service offers. Each group presented their ideas and projects, which was a great opportunity to receive constructive feedback and exchange experiences.

Alongside the workshops, we also had the chance to explore the local culture and history. We visited Metković, learning about its landmarks and local museums, and went on a trip to Dubrovnik, where we applied our skills in creative mini-projects. This combination of learning and sightseeing helped us understand how business knowledge can be applied in different contexts.

The whole trip took place in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and working in multicultural groups was not only educational but also inspiring. At the end of our project, we all planted an olive tree together to commemorate this special trip and leave a lasting mark of our collaboration for the future.

Summary of the Erasmus+ Trip in Metković, Croatia

The Erasmus+ trip to Metković in Croatia was an amazing experience full of learning, exploration, and fun. We spent several days working, sharing ideas, and meeting students and teachers from Türkiye, Greece, and Romania. This gave us a great chance to learn about different cultures, make new friends, and improve our teamwork skills in an international environment.

During the trip, we took part in many workshops. We worked in groups to develop ideas for products and services, learned basic skills in online marketing, content creation, and simple business planning. The workshops were sometimes challenging and required a lot of focus, but they were also very enjoyable. We learned how to cooperate in multicultural groups, think creatively, and present our ideas clearly.

Apart from workshops, we explored beautiful and interesting places. We visited Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” walked through its historic streets, saw old buildings and fortresses, and learned about the city’s history and culture. We also explored the Neretva River valley, enjoyed nature, and visited museums showing the history and heritage of the region. We had fun playing city games and doing group activities, which helped us connect with each other even more.

At the end of the trip, we received certificates and said goodbye to our new friends. It was an emotional moment because we had spent so much time together and built great relationships.

The trip was truly inspiring. We gained new knowledge, practiced important skills, discovered new places, and enjoyed every moment. It was a very valuable experience that we will remember for a long time.
